The best way to describe my photography style is vintage/farmhouse- basically, if you wish you were Joanna Gaines, I’m probably a good fit for you! However, I am flexible and if you love my photography but prefer a more urban setting, I can do that, too! I prefer outdoor location shoots and love to catch those fleeting moments that really show the personality of the subject. Sessions are scheduled in the hours just after sunrise or an hour and a half before sunset for optimal lighting conditions.
After booking a session, you can expect to discuss the details of your session: location, themes, outfits, etc. so I have an idea of what to work with. After the session you will receive thumbnails of your hand edited images and we can discuss options for ordering digital images, prints, and products.
Choosing the right photographer for your family is not a light decision. Do your research and look through galleries to figure out your tastes. The single most important aspect is the photographer’s style. You may have a photographer who takes amazing photos but if it doesn’t fit your style and tastes then you won’t like the end result. Value and communication are also important aspects to consider.
You will start by filling out a questionnaire, telling me a bit more about your family, your personal style, and what your goals for your session are.
If we are doing an outdoor session, I will also provide you with a list of my favorite locations throughout Houston, and suggestions on the location(s) that I think will best match the vision you have for your session.
